Applications are accepted year round. Applications received after these dates will be held for the following term.

Students

Up to 18 scholarships are awarded annually to students currently enrolled in Career and Technical Education programs. The scholarship is awarded for fall, spring and summer terms. Tentative term awards will be calculated using a fixed cost per credit hour to be determined each year by December 1, for the following year. Scholarships will be reviewed each term to verify continued eligibility. Applications are accepted year round. The number of credit hours that may be covered is 12 credit hours for fall and spring terms and six credit hours for summer term, for a maximum of 76 funded credit hours (Rule 7.14).

How to apply

Eligibility for Board CTE program scholarships

Students must meet the following requirement in order to be considered for the Career and Technical Scholarship.

  • This scholarship pays for in-state tuition only
  • Currently enrolled in Career and Technical Education program and pursuing a certificate or A.S. degree.
  • Have at least a 3.0 GPA at Santa Fe College
  • Complete a CTE scholarship application
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Provide a letter of support from a CTE Program Director, Coordinator, Advisor, or Instructor

Students who receive the Career and Technical Scholarship must:

  • Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for renewal.
  • Scholarships will be reviewed each term to verify continued eligibility.

Awarding

Award letters will be emailed to students who are chosen to receive a scholarship award from the Office of Career and Technical Education confirming the award of a CTE scholarship and the award period.

Career and Technical Education Scholarship Committee

Scholarship selection is through a review of applications by a Scholarship Committee comprised of CTE administrators, advisors and faculty.

The committee’s recommendations are forwarded to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs or designee for final selection of students.

Notes: The Santa Fe College Provost’s Office reserves the right to make final scholarship decisions. Any application containing false or misleading information or documentation can result in revocation of the scholarship.
