Health Sciences at Santa Fe College is comprised of Allied Health, Nursing, and Dental programs. Explore our Bachelors, Associates, and Certificate health care programs below.
Accreditation
To maintain programmatic accreditation with CAAHEP, Santa Fe College will transition from a certificate program in surgical technology to an Associate in Science in Surgical Services. All applicants should be aware that the next offering of the program is scheduled for the fall semester of 2024 in the A.S. degree format.
Bachelor Degrees
Four-year degrees for students building the foundation for a lifelong career. Degree offerings are specifically designed to meet the workforce needs in North Central Florida.
A.S. Degrees
Two-year degrees for students training to enter the workforce with a competitive skill set. Credits earned for most A.S. degrees can be applied towards an SF's bachelor's degree. See advisor for details.
Certificates
Career and Technical Certificate (C.T.C.) and College Credit Certificate (C.C.C.) programs are often paired with paid apprenticeships and many can be completed in six months. Credits earned with C.C.C.s can be applied towards SF's A.S. and bachelor's degrees.
A.A. Degree
The Associate in Arts (A.A.) is the degree that prepares students to transfer to a four-year college or university. Florida Statute 1007.23 guarantees every A.A. graduate from the Florida College System will be granted admission to a state university.
