Open Educational Resources
Overview
Open Educational Resources (OERs) are, "teaching, learning and research resources that reside in the public domain or have been released under an intellectual property license that permits their free use and re-purposing by others" (as defined by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation).

- MERLOT(Opens in new window) - Part of the California State University system, the acronym stands for Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching. It offers thousands of online learning materials for educators around the world.
- Top Tools for Learning(Opens in new window): This is an annual list of the best ed-tech tools as compiled by the Centre for Learning & Performance Technologies in Britain.
- Backward Design: Choosing Technology Tools for Teaching(Opens in new window): A program to help you develop learning goals and choose the tech to support them, created via the Northwest Academic Computing Consortium.
