Online Course Testing
Northwest Campus
The Testing Center on the Northwest Campus (Building N, Room 216) will proctor students in online classes on a first-come, first-served, walk-in basis. Students may come in at any time during the scheduled testing window. No appointments can be made. Please remember that you must arrive at the Testing Center with enough time to complete testing by the time the center closes. If your test is a two-hour test, you should arrive three hours in advance in case there is a line. Also keep in mind that Fridays are the busiest days and the Testing Center closes at 5pm on Fridays. See Testing Center hours and rules. Don't wait until the last minute to take your test!
Weekend Testing
Weekend testing is held in the Testing Center, located on the Northwest Campus N-216. See the Testing Center hours and rules for available days and times.
Other SF Locations
Other campus locations will also proctor tests for online courses, but your instructor will need to complete a request form and you will need to make an appointment at the center 48 hours in advance. Hours vary at each center.

Online Proctoring Options
The college offers online proctoring options for students that are outlined on the Learn Online Now webpage.
Additional Proctoring Locations
If you live outside the Gainesville area, and online proctoring is not an option (for example, paper and pencil tests), you may wish to ask your Instructor about taking your proctored exams at another authorized testing center. This option will incur additional costs and you must get your professor's approval first.
Locate a testing center near where you live using the National College Testing Association website. Costs vary widely by site. Be sure to check the specific costs for the location you choose, their hours of operation, and what form of payment they take. You will need to provide the following information to your instructor so he/she can make arrangements for testing:
- Name and location of the testing center
- Proctor's phone number and email address
- When you will be arriving to take the exam
