Veteran Orientation

Overview

The Veteran Orientation is a separate orientation from the New Student Orientation and Convocation and is for the following student population:

Any new student utilizing any of the VA Military Education benefits, to include:

  • Chapter 33 / Post 9-11 G.I. Bill®
  • Chapter 30 / Montgomery G.I. Bill® Active Duty
  • Chapter 1606 / Montgomery G.I. Bill® Selected Reserves
  • Chapter 31 / Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Chapter 35 / Dependents Educational Assistance

During this Veteran Orientation, we will cover resources available to our veteran and dependent population located both on and off campus, along with going over how your individual educational benefits work and the processes Santa Fe College utilize in order to make sure you are paid in a timely fashion.

Please RSVP above so we may be better prepared for the number of people attending. Our Veteran Orientation starts on the hour, and it is your responsibility to show up on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late to the Veteran Orientation, you will have to reschedule for another day. No exceptions.
