RUE Festival
Overview
The purpose of this festival is to highlight research being done by current SF students. Students may submit posters highlighting their research.
The 2025 RUE Festival(Opens in new window) will take place in the Fine Arts Hall Lobby on Monday April 21, 5 - 7 p.m.
Posters will be judged in one of two categories:
- Empirical Research - Empirical research comprises those projects which primarily require data gathering by experiments, surveys, etc. conducted by the same students. Data gathering is guided by a clearly identified research question or hypothesis. Generally speaking, the work in this category is meant to cover projects employing the scientific method. Projects for this category can originate in any department or field of inquiry.
- Analytical Research - Analytical research comprised those projects which primarily require students to analyze concepts, interpret texts, and form arguments, etc. Generally speaking, the work in this category includes analyses in support of theses or explanations of difficult concepts, not merely summarization or recitation of known positions. Projects for this category can originate in any department or field of inquiry.
Entries will consist of a poster showcasing research and may include multimedia elements (audio clips, animation, videos)
Suggestions for multimedia:
