SF Provost’s Research Opportunity (PRO) Award
Up to $1000 to support student research projects mentored by SF Faculty.
- Goal: Experience & higher order application of research skills
- Impact: Honors/Gifted Students
- Funds may be used for: Travel to research site, equipment, supplies, dissemination of results (incl. submission and conference fees)
- Deliverable: Participation in RUE Research Festival; Post-Award Self-Evaluation.
PRO Award Application and Information
SF Provost’s Research as Teaching (PRAT) Award
Up to $1000 awards to FT/PT faculty to stimulate development of research-centered curriculum & assignment sequences
- Goal: Develop classroom pedagogy centered around research skills & basic application of those skills
- Impact: General Student
- Funds may be used for: Salary stipend & relevant conference registration fees and/or travel
- Deliverable: Implementation of pedagogy in the classroom; Post-Award Self-Evaluation.
