Important Financial Aid Dates
To ensure aid is available to hold classes in the Fall, students should be mindful of the following critical dates when applying for financial aid at Santa Fe College. For official dates see the college calendar and critical dates.
| Date | Description |
| July 1 | Best Results Date for Fall Semester – Submit a FAFSA and any requested verification and eligibility documents by this date to receive a financial aid offer by the Fall semester fees due date. |
| July 15 | Current Academic Year Cutoff Date - A student's file must be complete and verified for the academic year that ended on June 30th in order to receive any outstanding aid funds. |
| August 1 | Financial Aid Priority Date for Fall Semester – Submit a FAFSA and any requested verification and eligibility documents by this date to likely receive a financial aid offer by the Fall semester fees due date. |
| October 1 | FAFSA Application opens for the following academic year – Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) early to maximize the funds you are eligible for. |
| December 1 | Financial Aid Priority Date for Spring Semester – Submit a FAFSA and any requested verification and eligibility documents by this date to likely receive a financial aid offer by the Spring semester fees due date. |
| March 15 | Priority Deadline for Upcoming Academic Year - Priority date to ensure maximum funding for fall, spring, and summer of the upcoming academic year. |
| April 1 | Financial Aid Priority Date for Summer Semester – Submit a FAFSA and any requested verification and eligibility documents by this date to likely receive a financial aid offer by the Summer semester fees due date. |
| June 30 | Last day to submit FAFSA for the current academic year - Federal processor must receive your online FAFSA for the current academic year by midnight central time. |
