Overview

Begin the financial aid process here. Review important dates and deadlines, apply for aid using the FAFSA, and complete verification if selected by the federal government. Learn more below. 

To get your aid each year you must complete the financial aid process:

  1. Apply for aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  2. List Santa Fe College on your FAFSA (001519)
  3. Apply for Admission/Readmit to Santa Fe College
  4. Have your proof of high school completion (diploma, GED, etc.) and all transcripts sent from previous institutions.
  5. If selected for Verification check the Financial Aid Portal in eSantaFe for documents that must be submitted. 
  6. Review your awards in the Financial Aid Portal.
  7. Deferments and Bookstore Lines of Credit are given to students with enough available aid.
  8. Attend and complete classes to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
  9. Receive your disbursement (refund) through BankMobile.
  10. Reapply using the FAFSA every academic year, as early as October 1st
