Complete Orientation

Overview

Studies show participating in orientation leads to college completion – and we have created an exciting and informative program tailored to the needs of our new students. All students new to Santa Fe College will be required to complete a series of online orientation segments before they can register for classes. In one segment, students learn about the resources the college offers to help them succeed. Other parts of orientation cover critical college policies, important aspects of financial aid, tips for success, and more.

New Student Orientation and Convocation

Students access New Student Orientation through the My Status screen after logging into eSantaFe. While New Student Orientation is completed prior to initial enrollment, New Student Convocation is completed after students register for their first semester at the college. The in-person New Student Convocation event, Santa Fe Live, will be held in August 2024 during the first week of the Fall semester. Students can sign up in eSantaFe after they register for Fall classes. If students cannot attend in-person, an online option will be available after Labor Day.
