Santa Fe College Fee Waivers
Fee waivers are offered to eligible full-time and part-time faculty and staff. Dependents and spouses of eligible full-time employees are also eligible for waivers. Employees are responsible for books, lab and activity fees. Courses taken during working hours must be approved by the employee's supervisor. A memo stating when time missed will be made up must be signed by the supervisor and submitted to Human Resources with the fee waiver. Employee and dependent fee waivers are available upon request to human.resources@sfcollege.edu.
The fee waiver request is initiated by contacting Human Resources via email at human.resources@sfcollege.edu. Employees are provided with a link to complete the application and begin the approval process. HR initially reviews for employment eligibility based on the established criteria and then forwards to Financial Aid for verification of standards for academic performance and progress along with the financial calculation of the waiver and determination of additional fees owed. The form is then forwarded to the Office for Finance Cashiers where the employee pays their portion of fees due. Please see College Rule 7.13 and College Rule 7.13P for information on qualification eligibility and other program details.
