Overview

Whether you are coming by yourself or as part of a group, visiting during one of our special events, or dropping by on a quiet afternoon, the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo welcomes you to walk the quarter-mile trail through the wooded environment. The Zoo showcases a diverse collection that contains both native and exotic species for everyone to enjoy. The zoo is also stroller and/or wheelchair accessible.

Hours and Admissions

Visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with last entry at 2:30 p.m. The Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo is open every day of the year, except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. No appointments are necessary. Although the SF Teaching Zoo is open for guests to walk around the zoo on their own, guided tours can be scheduled in advance.

Find the Zoo with step-by-step directions and information on where to park. We recommend typing in "Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo" in your GPS to be directed to our parking lot.

Zoo Membership

Zoo membership supports our day-to-day needs for animal care and is a great way for your family to meet ours. Ten percent of the cost of membership goes directly to external conservation organizations. Get a zoo membership for yourself or your entire family!
