Liberal Arts Guaranteed Admission Program
Going Gator
Santa Fe College students now have guaranteed transfer admission into 17 University of Florida Liberal Arts bachelor's degrees. Qualifying students now have a yes from UF!
Qualifications
To qualify for the Going Gator transfer program, students must earn an Associate in Arts degree with a 2.5 cumulative GPA, successfully complete pre-requisite coursework for select majors and intend to transfer to UF starting in Summer 2025 or later.
Select Majors
The following UF Liberal Arts majors qualify for guaranteed transfer:
- African American Studies
- Anthropology
- Astronomy
- Astrophysics
- Botany
- Classical Studies
- Foreign Languages and Literatures (all specializations)
- Geography (including Environmental Geosciences)
- Geology (including Environmental Geosciences)
- Hispanic and Latin American Languages, Literatures and Linguistics (all specializations within the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies)
- History
- Jewish Studies
- Meteorology
- Philosophy
- Physics
- Religion
- Women's Studies
Note: Students who are admitted to UF through the Going Gator program will not be able to change their major after transferring to UF. For more information, visit the UF Going Gator Advising page.
