This partnership guarantees Santa Fe College (SF) graduates who earn an Associate in Arts and complete required prerequisite courses admission to UVI to earn a bachelor’s degree in select STEM fields. The SF to UVI articulation agreement is an expansion of the Florida-Caribbean Louis Stokes Regional Center of Excellence efforts to broaden participation in STEM led by both SF and UVI.
While students who graduate with an A.A. from a Florida College System institution are guaranteed admission to a state university in Florida, the SF to UVI partnership provides SF graduates a seamless pathway to unique STEM programs in an environment that allows students to utilize research to study issues and challenges related to natural resource management in the Caribbean region.
