Any internship, work, service-learning, volunteer, or other programs you find from links provided here are not endorsed by Santa Fe College. Investigate the reputability of the program you are interested in. The Office of International Education can also help with this distinction.

Fulbright

The Fulbright program for U.S. students is one of the most prestigious in the world. If you earn a Fulbright, you will be given modest pay to fulfill a project in another country. In general, you must be a U.S. Citizen and have completed your Bachelor's degree in order to apply.

Internships and Work Abroad

As far as future employment is concerned, a very strong international experience involves time spent at an internship. Some study abroad programs have internships built in. To find out more about international internships, begin searching through the many options available:

Outside Programs

If the Santa Fe College programs don't seem right for you, there are a number of places to begin looking for one that suits you better. During your search for a program:

  • You should speak with the SF Coordinator for International Education to discuss program reputability, credit transfer, and anything else you have questions about.
  • You should speak with an advisor to insure that the program you pick fits well into your academic plans.
  • You should speak with the Office of Financial Aid about any changes in financial aid that may occur when you join an outside program.
