Clay Action Coalition
In partnership with Clay County School District, the Clay Action Coalition offers a six-week program is designed to provide skills based prevention education for adolescents who are exhibiting poor decision making skills and who also may have alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use behaviors in their lives. It offers all youth a means of facing and resolving problems as it relates to alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Let’s Face It is also offered as an alternative to school suspension, expulsion, reassignment, or on the recommendation of a concerned party. A parent/guardian attends each lesson with their teen as they are key to reinforcing the knowledge learned as well as emphasizing relationship building, peer refusal skills, goal setting, and communication skills to their child.
