Santa Fe College Closed for Winter Break: Key Services Available

Santa Fe College will have some open hours for student services during the winter closure. Other services are available online.
The College is officially closed Monday, December 23, 2024, through Friday, January 3, 2025. While most offices will remain closed until Monday, January 6, 2025, some student services will be available for both current and new students.
Admissions and Advising
The Office of Admissions on the Northwest Campus will be open on Thursday, January 2, and Friday, January 3, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to assist prospective students with admissions and initial enrollment. Students attending classes at any SF campus or center may come to the Northwest Campus for help.
Students are invited to stop by Building R, Room 101. No appointment is necessary.
Students also can connect with an advisor Jan. 2 and 3 electronically via the Admissions digital lobby, or email admissions@sfcollege.edu.
Financial Aid
On January 2 and 3, 2025, staff will be in the admissions office (R-101) to help students in person. They will also answer phone calls and check emails. Students can go to the financial aid contact page to schedule a phone appointment.
Northwest Campus Tours
The recruitment team will hold tours of the Northwest Campus on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Register here.
General Information
Students can get a variety of questions answered at any time in several languages by using the Ask SF Chatbot.
Counseling and Wellness
TimelyCare offers students free 24/7 mental and emotional support by masters-level behavioral health professionals.
SF Police Department
The Santa Fe College Police Department will be open and operational 24/7 during the break. The SFPD maintains a food pantry in their lobby for students in need.
SF Teaching Zoo
The SF Teaching Zoo will be open every day except December 24 and 25.
Spring Enrollment
Spring enrollment is open until Friday, January 10, which is the last day to add classes for Spring and Spring A terms. Current Santa Fe College students can register for classes through eSantaFe.

Extended Hours in January
To better assist students at the start of the Spring term, the Office of Admissions, Academic Advisement Center, Office of the Registrar and Office of Financial Aid will remain open until 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, January 6–9, and January 13–16.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of this extra time to finalize registration, seek academic advising, or address financial aid needs.
Winter Break Closings
Several areas of the college will not be available during the winter break:

- Kika Silva Pla Planetarium
- Lawrence W. Tyree Library: Closed from Saturday, Dec. 21, through Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025.
