AFC Collecting School Supply Donations for Local Foster Youth

The Santa Fe College chapter of the Association of Florida Colleges (AFC)(Opens in new window) will be holding a school supply drive for Partnership for Strong Families(Opens in new window) (PFSF)'s Back to School Drive. PFSF provides a new backpack filled with supplies to every child in their care to prepare them for a successful school year. They anticipate serving over 500 local youth in foster care this year. There are several ways that you can support this drive:
- Donate New School Supplies: A collection bin is available on the first floor of S Building until Monday, July 17.
- Purchase Online: Donations can also be purchased online and delivered to PFSF at 5950 NW 1st Place, Suite 300, Gainesville, FL, 32607. An Amazon Wish List(Opens in new window) is available.
- Financial Donation: A donation(Opens in new window) of $25 will provide a backpack filled with supplies for one child.
