Memorial Service for Linda Sweet Will Be October 15

September 24, 2019 – A joint memorial service for Santa Fe College retiree Linda Sweet(Opens in new window), her husband, Jim, and son, Jerry, will be held Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019, at the Santa Fe River Ranch. A private ceremony for family and close friends will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a reception open to the public from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Please gather with us to celebrate their lives.
The three were killed in an automobile accident(Opens in new window) in Gainesville in August. Linda joined the Human Resources department in January of 2004 and retired in October of 2013 as the Compensation Manager. During her time at the college, she was an amazing resource who was always willing to teach others and help by using her rich Human Resources experience to serve the faculty, staff and students of the college.
