SF MEN'S BASKETBALL DAYTONA DEFEATS SANTA FE, 93-80

Daytona, FL – Daytona State played well offensively Saturday afternoon, putting up 93 points to defeat the Santa Fe Saints by 13 in a Mid-Florida Conference match-up.
The Falcons jumped out early on the Saints and took a commanding 47-28 lead at the halftime break.
The Saints (13-6) fought back in the second but it wasn't enough as they fell 93-80.
Nick Grier led Santa Fe scorers with 21 points, Josh Hawkins had 13 points, and D-Juan Taylor-Hodge scored 10.
The Saints will host MFC rivals the College of Central Florida Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. That night will be "Student Appreciation Night" at the SF Gym.
