Applications Open for Adopt-a-Family Holiday Assistance Until Dec. 2

November 14, 2024

Santa Fe College Career Service employees in need this holiday season can apply for support through the Adopt-a-Family Holiday Assistance program, which will accept applications until Monday, Dec. 2, 2024.

The Career Service Council (CSC) General Fund provides financial assistance to full-time, non-probationary Career Service employees facing challenges during the holidays. In the spirit of giving, the CSC aims to offer a helping hand to those who need it, reinforcing the sense of community and care among employees.

To qualify for assistance, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a current Santa Fe College, non-probationary full-time Career Service employee.
  • Complete the application below in its entirety.
  • Provide a Letter of Support that explains what led you to either nominate someone or yourself for this assistance.
  • Submit the online application by Dec. 2.

Applications are to be reviewed by the SF-CSC Executive Council and the employee will be notified by the CSC Executive Council Chair. All employee/nominee information remains anonymous and is only reviewed by the CSC Executive Council.

The monetary assistance amount is to be determined based upon the availability of funds within the CSC General Fund. Once a determination is made, the Career Service Executive Council chair will notify the awarded employee/nominee or nominator/group of the decision.

Funds will be issued only to the employee/nominee or appropriate designee and will be dispersed in the form of a check or direct deposit. Additionally, the employee/nominee will receive coupons to be redeemed at SF Saints Share Wear.
