Adopt-A-Family Holiday Assistance
The Career Service Council (CSC) General Fund is used to lend a helping hand to Career Service employee(s). The definition of Career Service employee is defined in the bylaws. In the spirit of the season, CSC would like to support a Career Service employee(s) to remind them that we care.
If you are or you know of a Career Service employee that is in need this holiday season please complete the online application below by deadline date. You may nominate someone or yourself. Please complete the application information with the one that would be receiving the holiday assistance.
Eligibility of Assistance
To be eligible you must:
- Be a current Santa Fe College, non-probationary full-time Career Service employee.
- Complete the application below in its entirety (below)
- Provide a Letter of Support that explains what led you to either nominate someone or yourself for this assistance.
- Submit the online application by Monday, December 2, 2024.
Review Process
Applications are to be reviewed by the SF-CSC Executive Council and the employee will be notified by the CSC Executive Council Chair. Confidentiality is a priority. All employee/nominee information remains anonymous and is only reviewed by the CSC Executive Council.
Awarding
The monetary assistance amount is to be determined based upon the availability of funds within the CSC General Fund. Once a determination is made, the Career Service Executive Council chair will notify the awarded employee/nominee or nominator/group of the decision.
Employee/Nominee may only receive aid from the CSC General Fund once during a 12-month period and no more than twice within a three-year period.
Funds will be issued only to the employee/nominee or appropriate designee and will be dispersed in the form of a check or direct deposit. Additionally, the employee/nominee will receive coupons to be redeemed at SF Saints Share Wear.
The SF-CSC Executive Council has the ultimate authority regarding the administration and disbursement of funds.
