SF Midweek Review: College Colors Day, Labor Day Closing and More

August 28, 2024 – Stay updated on the week's events and developments at Santa Fe College:
- SF invites students and staff to wear the College's colors on Aug. 29 in celebration of College Colors Day: The combination of Saints Blue and white embodies the spirit and identity of the college.
- SF will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 in honor of Labor Day: Normal operating hours will resume Sept. 3.
- SF needs your One Stop Center feedback: Please complete the Santa Fe College One Stop Center Survey before Sept. 3 to help design a One Stop Center.
- Adult Mental Health First Aid training for SF students happens Sept. 13: This training helps participants understand how to help others who might be experiencing a mental health-related crisis or problem on campus.
- Sherry Houston was selected as Vice President for Advancement and Chief Philanthropy Officer: Ms. Houston will start at the college on Sept. 16.
- Santa Fe College Trustee Carrie Lee earned national recognition: Trustee Lee has been recognized by the Association of Community College Trustees as the 2024 Trustee Leadership Award winner for the southern region.
- Saints secure third straight win: In an exciting four-set match, the Saints defeated the Manta Rays 3-1.
