An important way you can demonstrate your knowledge and skillset to potential employers in information technology is through CompTIA certifications. The A+, Network+, and Security+ credentials are the best CompTIA certifications to have in order to jumpstart or advance your IT career. If you're interested in the often flexible and well-paid opportunities of IT and cyber security jobs, get started today with CompTIA certification training.
This course will prepare you for three CompTIA IT certifications that are ideal for entry-level and mid-level professionals: A+, Network+ and Security+. The CompTIA certifications are the most-recognized, vendor-neutral credentials in the industry, and will assure employers that you have the skills they need.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be prepared to sit for the following exams: CompTIA A+ Exams 220-1001 and 220-1002, CompTIA Network+ Exam N10-007, and CompTIA Security+ Exam SY0-601. This course offers enrollment with or without vouchers. The vouchers are prepaid access to sit for the certifying exams upon eligibility.
At the end of this CompTIA training, you'll also be proficient in basic cybersecurity concepts such as attacks and mitigation, security applications, risk assessment, disaster recovery and incident response, cloud computing, mobile devices, BYOD and SCADA, in addition to vulnerability assessment.

Hardware Requirements:
- This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac. Mac users are encouraged to have access to a Windows environment on their device. The Online Lab System is compatible with PC and Mac computers as well. You will be provided detailed instructions for setting-up a home virtual lab system.
Software Requirements:

- Mac: OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 or later.
- Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.

Can I register for a course if I am an international student?

Does this course prepare me for a certification?
Yes, the CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ Certification training course prepares you for three of the latest CompTIA certifications. This course currently prepares you for the CompTIA A+ Exam 220-1001 and Exam 220-1002; CompTIA Network+ Exam N10-007; and CompTIA Security+ Exam SY0-501. Students enrolled in the "voucher included" option will also receive a pre-paid voucher upon successful completion of the course and your financial obligation.
When can I start the course?
This course is open enrollment, so you can register and start the course as soon as you are ready. Access to your course can take 24-48 business hours.
How long does it take to complete this course?
This course is self-paced and open enrollment, so you can start when you want and finish at your own pace. When you register, you'll receive twelve (12) months to complete the course.
What if I don't have enough time to complete my course within the time frame provided?
The time allotted for course completion has been calculated based on the number of course hours. However, if you are unable to complete the course, contact your Student Advisor to help you work out a suitable completion date. Please note that an extension fee may be charged.
What kind of support will I receive?
You may be assigned with an instructor or team of industry experts for one-on-one course interaction. Your support will be available (via email) to answer any questions you may have and to provide feedback on your performance. All of our instructors are successful working professionals in the fields in which they teach. You will be assigned to an Advisor for academic support.
What happens when I complete the course?
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a certificate of completion. You will also receive exam vouchers for the CompTIA A+ Exams 220-901 and 220-902, CompTIA Network+ Exam N10-006, and CompTIA Security+ Exam SY0-501 once you've met your financial obligation and completed all coursework.
Am I guaranteed a job?
This course will provide you with the skills you need to obtain an entry-level position in most cases. Potential students should always do research on the job market in their area before registering.
Can I get financial assistance?
This course is non-credit, so it does not qualify for federal aid, FAFSA and Pell Grant. In some states, vocational rehab or workforce development boards will pay for qualified students to take our courses. Additionally, some students may qualify for financial assistance when they enroll, if they meet certain requirements. Financing is available from select schools. How do I do the applied labs if I don't have equipment?
You can still do the applied labs even if you don't have equipment. The majority of the labs in these training courses can be completed using the online lab system. You'll receive a lab scheduling link within your course.

This designation can be also springboard to highly sought-after cybersecurity roles.
What is the average salary of someone with these credentials?
According to a recent IT Skills and Salary Report by Global Knowledge, professionals with a CompTIA A+ certification earn an average salary over $72,500. Those with Network+ credentials will earn an average salary just under $75,000, and professionals with a CompTIA Security+ certification will earn around $81,500 on average. Years of experience and location will also play a role in salary, but earning these credentials will provide you with a lucrative start to your new career.
What can I expect during each exam?
While each exam is slightly different, you can expect some similarities. You will be given 90 minutes to compete a maximum of 90 questions on each exam. CompTIA Certification exams are composed of multiple choice questions, drag and drop questions and performance-based questions (PBQs). PBQs are designed to simulate an environment you are likely to encounter in the workplace and test your ability to problem-solve. While not every CompTIA certification exam includes PBQs, you will find them on all of these core skills certifications. You can test your skills in sample PBQs on the CompTIA website.
Where will I take my CompTIA certification exams?
You will take your CompTIA Certification Exams at a Pearson VUE testing center. These proctored testing centers can be found nationwide and located on the Pearson VUE site at pearsonvue.com
How long does my certification last?
These certifications typically expire three years after the date they are issued. However, you will be able to extend the life of your certification in three-year intervals by completing approved continuing education. Continuing education (CE credits) helps you stay up-to-date in your knowledge within a constantly changing IT industry. Earning higher-level CompTIA certifications will also provide an extension for your certification as you progress in your career.
