Overview

Santa Fe College is committed to providing a safe learning environment through which we offer innovative educational programs and student services and community leadership and service.  We call on members of our community to do their part to keep SF Safe.

If you see behavior that indicates a potential for violence or threatens anyone at SF or on SF property, please dial 911 or call the Santa Fe College Police Department IMMEDIATELY at 352-395-5555 and report the behavior with information including location, date and time, persons involved, descriptions, and witness.

How to Report

Please complete this online Report Form if you observe concerning or threatening behavior that suggests harm to SF students, staff, or visitors. If you believe the behavior can result in the immediate harm of anyone at SF, call the SFPD at 352-395-5555 (or just 5555 from any campus phone) or dial 911.

Safe Santa Fe is a collaborative venture from Academic Affairs, the Counseling and Wellness Center, Human Resources, the SF Police Department, Student Affairs, Student Life, and the Institute of Public Safety.

Concerning Or Threatening Behavior Report

What you need to know

No single tool or profile accurately predicts a person's potential for future violent behavior. On the one hand, individuals may exhibit one or more of the behaviors listed below and never respond with violence. On the other hand, someone may act violently without ever displaying any of these behaviors. Nevertheless, experience suggests the following behaviors may serve as warning signs of a potential for violence.
