February 21, 2025

Santa Fe College’s Museum of Earth Sciences and the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium will be featured on an episode of WUFT’s Greater Good. It will premiere at 8:30 tonight, February 21, and can be viewed at youtube.com/watch?v=KDoOkKuF0iI.

"Greater Good," a half-hour series produced by WUFT, showcases organizations that positively impact North Central Florida. Previous episodes spotlighted Santa Fe College Fine Arts and the Teaching Zoo.

Santa Fe College's Museum of Earth Science displays more than 1,700 mineral, fossil, and rock samples from around the world. Its collection includes Martian and lunar meteorites, along with other extraterrestrial specimens. Located in the lobby of Building X on SF’s Northwest Campus in Gainesville, Florida, the museum sits next to the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium.

Enhancing education through immersive learning, the planetarium uses advanced technology to engage Santa Fe College and University of Florida students, school groups, community organizations, and the public across North Central Florida.
