SF Softball: Saints Win Big Against Top Team

Santa Fe College played against St. Johns River State College on Thursday. St. Johns River was the number one team in Division Two.

The teams played two games. In the first game, the Saints won 6-5. They scored two runs in the second inning. St. Johns River hit a home run in the third inning to score one run but couldn’t stop the Saints.

In the second game, the Saints played strong. St. Johns River scored two runs in the third inning. But the Saints answered back. They scored six runs in the third inning and five runs in the fourth. The game ended early with an 11-2 Saints win.

The 3-3 Saints play again next Thursday in an away game against Florida State College at Jacksonville.
