SF Men’s Basketball: Saints Fall to #9 FSCJ in Nonconference Match

The Santa Fe Saints faced a formidable challenge Wednesday night, taking on the ninth-ranked team in the NJCAA Division II poll, Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ). Despite a determined effort, the Saints fell 81-63 on FSCJ’s home court.
The Manta Rays built a 38-25 advantage by halftime, but SF stayed competitive throughout the second half. With six minutes remaining, the Saints had narrowed the deficit to just six points. However, a costly turnover and three consecutive missed shots allowed FSCJ to regain momentum and pull away.
The Saints will look to bounce back this weekend as they travel to Lake Worth to face Palm Beach State College on Saturday, Nov. 23.
