Professional Development Day Is This Friday

Santa Fe College’s Professional Development Day is scheduled for Friday, March 28, offering faculty and staff an opportunity for professional growth, collaboration and reflection. This year’s theme, “Thrive Together: Bridges to Belonging,” emphasizes the importance of fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

For those who have not yet registered, on-site registration will be available in the Fine Arts Hall lobby from 8 to 8:45 a.m. The event will begin with coffee and pastries at 8 a.m., followed by the formal program at 9 a.m. in the Auditorium.

The college is pleased to welcome Dr. Anindya Kundu as the keynote speaker. Dr. Kundu, an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Florida International University, will present "The Power of Agency: Creating Conditions for All Students to Thrive." A distinguished author and scholar, he will discuss how young people can develop agency to overcome challenges and achieve success.

In addition to the keynote address, the day will include presentations led by Santa Fe College faculty and staff, covering topics related to personal and professional development, institutional initiatives and strategies for enhancing student success.
