Learn About Blackthorn: First Workshop for New Events Platform on Dec. 4

The Recruitment Events team is offering the first in a series of workshops to familiarize departments and staff with the college’s new Blackthorn Events platform.
The initial workshop will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. Interested parties should RSVP via this Blackthorn form.
Blackthorn is the leading event management platform in higher education, non-profit, healthcare and the public sector. More than 600 institutions already utilize Blackthorn, which works in concert with the college’s Salesforce CRM platforms.
The college is partnering with Blackthorn to power annual recruitment events like Open House and Family Preview Day, along with daily and weekly events such as Campus Visits and Group Tours. The platform will also host the college’s Professional Development Day event this coming March.
Blackthorn is being made available to departments across campus, who will work with the Recruitment Events team to train on the platform and build events.
The first workshop will be held via Zoom and is open to all interested in learning more about it. Subsequent workshops and training sessions will be scheduled for those interested in utilizing the platform.
