Free careers pathway forum for HIM students

To better understand the many career direction available within Health Information Management (HIM), students are invited to attend a free student-organized forum “From Classroom to Career: Discover Where HIM Can Take You,” Friday, Oct. 23, from 1-3 p.m.

The forum will connect students with professionals working in different areas of the field, giving them a better understanding of what HIM careers can look like beyond the classroom and how they can prepare their own professional journey.

Guest professionals will explore health information technology (HIT), clinical documentation, health informatics, data analytics, and other emerging areas of the profession to share their experiences, discuss their career paths, and offer advice based on their journey within the industry. 

Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions, gain a better understanding of the options, and make meaningful connections with individuals already working in the field.
