Benefits Fair on Oct. 30 to Aid Santa Fe College Employees with Open Enrollment

October 28, 2024

Santa Fe College reminds employees to complete both the People First and Workday open enrollment processes before the deadline of Nov. 1, 2024. This deadline is crucial to ensure insurance coverage for 2025. Employees must finalize both enrollments by that date to secure their benefits for the upcoming year.

In addition, the college announces an opportunity for local participants in the State Group Insurance Program (SGIP). The Department of Management Services (DMS) will host a benefits fair on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in R-001 (Northwest Campus). The fair provides a chance to speak with DMS representatives and participating vendors, offering valuable information and assistance. Even though the event is scheduled close to the end of the open enrollment period, employees can still make changes to their benefits elections until Friday, Nov. 1, at 6 p.m.

To further assist with the open enrollment process, Human Resources representatives will be available at the C-120 computer lab on the Northwest Campus throughout the next week:

  • Monday: 2-4 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 8-9:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday: 2-4 p.m.
  • Thursday: 9 a.m.-noon
  • Friday: 1-4 p.m.

For those who cannot attend the designated times, Santa Fe College encourages employees to reach out via email at employment.benefits@sfcollege.edu to ask questions or schedule an alternative appointment.

The college urges employees to take advantage of these resources to ensure they complete their open enrollment on time.
