Santa Fe College Closed Nov. 10 and 11 for Veterans Day

November 1, 2023 – Santa Fe College will be closed in observation of Veterans Day Friday, Nov. 10 and for the holiday itself Saturday, Nov. 11.
Normal operating hours will resume Monday, Nov. 13.
Veterans Day, formerly known as Armistice Day, was designated a U.S. legal holiday to honor the end of World War I, which officially took place on Nov. 11, 1918. In 1954, the 83rd U.S. Congress replaced "Armistice" with "Veterans." On June 1, 1954, Nov. 11 became a day to honor American veterans of all wars.
