August 10, 2020 – DiversityEdu is an online professional development training offered by Santa Fe College that teaches faculty and staff skills for building an inclusive culture on campus. DiversityEdu offers engaging, practical content using evidence-based methodology. Learners who go through this course walk away with actionable insights and practical skills to help recognize and stop bias and prejudice, respond to microaggressions and to focus on impact over intent. Employees who complete this training receive a certificate of completion for their HR file.
SF's Office of Access and Inclusion began rolling out the DiversityEdu course for faculty and staff through Canvas online in the summer of 2020. The training is self-paced and typically takes a few hours to complete. Employees can now enroll in this training at any time by registering here.
