Severe Weather Alert for Thursday and Friday

April 22, 2020 – The National Weather Service – Jacksonville(Opens in new window) is reporting an enhanced risk of severe weather(Opens in new window) Thursday into Friday across North Central Florida. Santa Fe College's service district of Alachua and Bradford counties can expect between 2-3 inches of rain with areas of localized flooding. The storms are expected to arrive in the mid-evening hours of Thursday and remain through much of the day Friday. Storm squalls could bring damaging wind gusts, hail, heavy downpours and the possibility of tornadoes.
