Santa Fe College International Education has some exciting things scheduled for International Education Week, beginning Monday, Nov. 17.
Monday 17: International Photography Exhibit Opening, Reception at S-141 at 1 p.m. The winners of the 2014 International Photography Contest will be announced at the exhibit opening in the Student Life Art Gallery.
Tuesday 18: International Food Festival at the Oak Grove from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Come and learn about beans around the world. Taste international cuisine and enjoy jazz music.
Wednesday 19: International Film Festival: Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (Indian Film) in S-29 from 2-4 p.m. Three friends decide to turn their fantasy vacation into reality after one of their number becomes engaged.
Thursday 20: Stephani Nugroho, "Imaginations of Indonesia" WA-104 at 3:30 p.m. Dr. Nugroho is currently SF's Fulbright Scholar in residence. Her presentation will analyze how Indonesians from Jakarta, Kupang, and Banda Aceh have imagined themselves and the nation.
