Not Nothing, Everything features new works and collaborative installations by Santa Fe College Faculty member Matthew Whitehead and gallery manager Kyle Novak. The exhibit is a romanticized collection of events, images and found objects that call upon personal memories. These items are arranged and assembled, creating a sense of narrative and nostalgia. They become projections of our shared secrets, lost causes and impossible loyalties. This exhibit features traditional 2-Dimensional work as well as sculpture, photography and video. There will be a closing reception for this unique exhibit on Friday, August 23 from 7-9 p.m. in the M-147 gallery. This event will feature refreshments by Blue Water Bay and is free and open to the public. For any questions please contact the art gallery office at 352-395-5464.
