CLAUDIO-RIVERA AND PUERTO RICO FACE OFF AGAINST FORMER SAINT GARCIA AND MEXICO
Gainesville, FL – Current Santa Fe fastpitch player Karla Claudio-Rivera will face off against former Saint and Mexican national team member Erika Garcia tonight, October 21 at 6:00 PM CST. Coverage of the Pan Am Games can be seen on watchESPN.com and ESPN Deportes.
So far in the tournament, Puerto Rico is 2-3 with an outside shot at the medal round if they can pull off two wins today against Venezuela and Mexico. Mexico has been eliminated from medal round contention with a 1-5 record.
The matchup between Mexico and Puerto Rico is the final game of the round robin play for both teams. Medal round action will begin October 22.
