Vote for the new baby gibbon's name by Saturday, June 18 at the SF College Teaching Zoo's Facebook page.(Opens in new window)
The choices are:
1. Ayu (pronounced "Ah You"), an Indonesian name meaning "beautiful";
2. Dulu – "Doo Loo," Indonesian for "first," as in, this is the first baby for Eddie, Cajun and the Teaching Zoo; and
3. Suchin (Soo chun), Thai for "beautiful thought."
