Annual Open Enrollment Underway at Santa Fe College

Santa Fe College employees are encouraged to participate in the annual open enrollment period, which runs from Oct. 14 to Nov. 1. This year's enrollment is particularly significant as the college transitions to the State Group Insurance Program (SGIP). All employees must log on to People First to select their primary health insurance and any elective options. Those who fail to complete this active enrollment will not have health insurance coverage for 2025.
In addition to the SGIP enrollment, employees must complete open enrollment for any Santa Fe College benefits through Workday. Benefits-eligible employees should see a task titled “Open Enrollment Change:…” in their Workday inbox. If this task is missing, employees should contact employee.benefits@sfcollege.edu for assistance. The open enrollment window for SF benefits also runs from Oct. 14 to Nov. 1.
Employees are urged to review the SGIP benefits guide and familiarize themselves with available options. For questions regarding these plans, the People First Service Center can be reached at 866-663-4735, or TTY users can call 866-221-0268, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
As a reminder, employees who have not received their login credentials from the State of Florida should contact employment.benefits@sfcollege.edu promptly to secure their access.
For those needing assistance with the open enrollment process, HR representatives will be available in the C-120 computer lab. Employees are encouraged to review their options early in the enrollment period to ensure adequate time for questions and to address any unforeseen challenges.
