SF Volleyball: Saints Ready for Redemption Following St. John River Challenge
September 5, 2024
September 5, 2024 – The Saints traveled to St. John River State College on Wednesday night and played a four-set match. They dominated the first set but lost the following three sets, bringing their season record to 4-3.
"After the first set St. John's, turned it on, and we could not come back," Saints Head Coach Bailey Coleman said. "We as a team were not prepared mentally. We have to learn how to thrive off pressure."
Despite the setback, the Saints are determined to regroup and refocus. Their next opportunity comes quickly when they return to action this Friday at 6 p.m. against USC Lancaster in the final non-conference home match of the season. The Saints will then begin conference play at home against Hillsborough Community College at 2 p.m. on Sept. 14.
