Inaugural Gainesville Black Business Expo Happening at Santa Fe College

July 16, 2024 – Carolyn's Heart Inc. and Gainesville Black Professionals will present the inaugural Black Business Expo Saturday, July 20. This event will be held at Santa Fe College, Northwest 83 Street, Gainesville.
The expo aims to celebrate and support Black-owned businesses in the community. Attendees can expect a day full of networking, shopping and connecting with local entrepreneurs and business owners.
Event Highlights
The day kicks off with an Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion at 10 a.m. Esteemed panelists include:
- Joe Cirulli, Owner of Gainesville Health and Fitness
- Theresa Glaeser, Owner of LogoKick.com
- Laurence Andrews, Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Incubator at Santa Fe College's Center for Innovation and Economic Development (CIED)
- Caleena Shirley, Regional Director of Black Business Investment Fund
- John Sanchez, Senior Vice President of Capital City Bank
- Zeriah Folston, Director of Equity and Inclusion for the City of Gainesville
This panel will provide invaluable insights into entrepreneurship and business success.
Expo Details
The Black Business Expo will run from 1 to 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public. With more than 60 businesses participating, including both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, the expo promises a diverse array of offerings.
Participants will have the chance to collaborate with community members, discover local products and services and seek advice from community leaders.
