May 24, 2024 – Students come first at Santa Fe College. From academic support to financial assistance, SF strives to add value to the lives of our students, which in turn, enriches our community. All students are invited to attend events, learn something new and have fun. Student Life and My Brother's Keeper are just two resources that connect students with each other and their futures.
Student Life
According to Sarah Blanc, SF's Office of Civic Engagement and Service Specialist, "Student Life helps students find their community during their time at SF. We provide meaningful experiences that will help prepare our students for life after college, and they make lifelong friends by getting involved."
Students can:
- Get involved with clubs or community service programs.
- Explore student wellness resources.
- Learn about Saints Food Share, Student IDs and more.
Visit the Student News section of SF's newSFeed to keep up with the latest events, volunteer opportunities and more.
MBK
My Brother's Keeper aims to enhance personal growth and academic success among participants. MBK students can participate in leadership training, earn scholarships, and mentor others via several exclusive programs.
The MBK Diplomat program offers students leadership and professional development opportunities, elevating their collegiate experience. The MBK Scholars program is committed to sponsoring scholarships for eligible MBK students to join Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for junior colleges. The MBK Mentor program operates both on-campus and in the community, helping members build relationships with faculty and staff members who will provide reference letters for professional possibilities.
