SF Athletics: 2023-24 Review

May 23, 2024 – The echoes of the final buzzer fade. The last cheers of the crowd settle into memory. From post-season triumphs to bittersweet farewells, each moment has left its mark in Santa Fe College history. Let's look back at the 2023-24 athletic seasons.

Women's Volleyball

Santa Fe College Volleyball prepared for the 2023 season by introducing 12 new Saints to its team. The season schedule challenged each player. Despite several disappointments, the Saints shone in games such as their victory over Indian River State College.

Men's Basketball

Having lost their top eight scorers from the previous year, the Santa Fe Saints looked forward with optimism. There were many opportunities for everyone to step up and contribute. The Saints had a season filled with highs and lows as they sought to regain their glory.

Women's Basketball

It was an uphill fight for SF's Women's Basketball team. Their perseverance paid off when they made it to the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 postseason tournament. Despite losing in the quarterfinals, the Saints found the momentum to improve their game next season.

Men's Baseball

The Saints brought their bats this season. Their offensive prowess balanced by pitching and defensive excellence propelled them into post-season play for the second year in a row. Will next year be the third?

  • Away record: 11-12

Women's Softball

The SF Saints maintained a steady pace through the season. Making it to the FCSAA DI Softball Championship tournament was a testament of ability and determination. Although eliminated early, the Saints can look forward to another winning season next year.
