May 15, 2024
May 15, 2024 – Santa Fe Saints ace Justin Jackson has been named the FCSAA Pitcher of the Year. Over 15 appearances and 98 and one-third innings pitched, he posted a 2.20 ERA, the second lowest in the FCSAA, and earned a FCSAA best 11 wins, which are tied for the second most in NJCAA Division I. His 2.20 ERA is the lowest of any FCSAA Pitcher of the Year winner with at least 60 innings pitched since 2018. Jackson's 11 wins are tied for the most by any FCSAA Pitcher of the Year since 2015.
Jackson started his collegiate baseball career with the University of South Florida in 2022 before transferring to Santa Fe College last year. Jackson will now head to the University of Tampa, where he committed to play alongside fellow Saint Drake Harman for the 2024-2025 season.
Saints Graduate
Spring 2024 Commencement honored both spring and summer graduates, with over 40 SF student-athletes earning a degree or certificate. NJCAA and FCSAA academic awards are expected in about a month, with the Saints likely to perform well after a strong academic year.
Apart from the graduates, numerous student-athletes from the Saints have signed scholarships to play at the next level, with more expected to sign in the coming weeks.
