This Week at Santa Fe College: World Tree Kangaroo Day, UF Advising and More

May 12, 2024 – Do you know what's happening this week at Santa Fe College? Here's a rundown of just a few events and important dates:

  • Summer, Summer A and Summer D classes begin May 13: The last day to add classes for these terms is May 14.
  • "Emotional Intelligence" is May 14: If you are interested in attending, email kenny.hedlund@sfcollege.edu.
  • UF Innovation Academy Minor Walk-In Transfer Advising is May 14 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Visit SF's Event Calendar for more UF Advising dates.
  • The College Senate Executive Council Meeting is also May 14: It will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Building P, Room 160 (Northwest Campus).
  • The Gainesville Orchestra will have you on your feet May 16 and 17: Musical favorites, surprises and a great time will be had by all.
  • Celebrate World Tree Kangaroo Day on May 18 at the SF Teaching Zoo: Bring the whole family out to the Zoo from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to see these rare, majestic animals and learn how you can help them in the wild.
