Forrester Named FCSAA Softball Pitcher of the Year, All-Conference Selections Announced

May 6, 2024 – Last Wednesday, the Santa Fe College Athletics website revealed that Mallory Forrester has been named the FCSAA Softball Pitcher of the Year. Forrester completed the regular season with a 17-7 record with three saves and 148 strikeouts in 166.2 innings pitched. She also had a 1.68 ERA and 1.10 WHIP (Walks and Hits per Inning Pitched). Forrester was in the top five in the state in complete games (16), saves, innings pitched and WHIP.

First-Team All-Conference Selections from the Saints are Forrester, Ryleigh Bauer, Sydney Fowler and Ariana Wright. Second-Team All-Conference Selections from the Saints are Madi Conway and Juliann Smith.

The Saints aim to improve on their 39-20 regular season on Wednesday, May 8 in the FCSAA State Tournament in Clearwater, Florida.
