- Lucinda Dickens Hawksley visited SF: The great-great-great granddaughter of Charles Dickens met a literature class and gave a general lecture to invited guests, among other activities.
- Herman Ramos and Lee Starling earned Part-Time Faculty Excellence Awards: The award recognizes part-time faculty who demonstrate excellence at Santa Fe College, in their profession, and in the community.
- A new training opportunity for SF employees is available: "Veterans on Campus: Serving Those Who Served," is now accessible on Canvas.
- SF students rocked at Model U.S. Senate: They once again won an outsized share of the awards among the mostly four-year institutions that participated.
- SF Emergency Management is recruiting new Building Safety Ambassadors: The College seeks staff who are interested in receiving additional training in safety and risk topics.
- The Spring Arts Festival and Mind, Body, Life are collaborating on a mural project: Once completed, the mural will be exhibited and displayed at the Spring Arts Festival and the Mind, Body, Life Symposium.
- The Neurodivergent Club is recruiting officers: All brains are welcome!
- SF has qualified as an Unreal Academic Partner: Joining this program means our students get better software tools for their courses.
- SF's Model UN competed in the Southern Regional Model UN Conference: These students prepared advanced position papers on topics as diverse as the Israeli-Palestinian crises, sustainable urban transportation and cybersecurity.
- The SF Green Training Assessment Survey is now open: Your valuable insights will contribute significantly to our efforts in building a comprehensive Green Jobs Pipeline.
- Internal job postings are updated: Santa Fe College periodically has job openings specifically for internal candidates.
- SFPD dispatchers will be saluted during National Telecommunicators Week: This year the week runs from April 14-20.
- Health Information Professionals Week Is April 15-19: Santa Fe College and the American Health Information Management Association will honor health information professionals.
- SF launches a dedicated clubs space April 15: The new Student Engagement Center will be a place for student organizations across the college to meet, plan, hang out, collaborate and celebrate.
- The Spring Horticulture Agriculture and Artist Sale happens April 17: This is a cash-only sale.
