March 30, 2024 – Here's some Santa Fe College news you might have missed:
- SF Marketing & Communications won 2 Gold NCMPR Paragon Awards: The awards recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication on a national level.
- Two SF students presented at the Johns Hopkins University for the Richard Macksey Undergraduate Research Symposium: Participants are selected from a nationwide pool of submissions from all leading academic institutions.
- Elevator upgrades took place: Buildings A, B, L, R, X and P were affected.
- Professional Development Day was Friday, March 29: The college was closed to students and the public.
- Elements of Style began March 29: Dance Theatre of Santa Fe presents their annual concert showcasing the variety of dance styles taught in the SF dance program.
- Internal job postings are closing on April 4: Santa Fe College periodically has job openings specifically for internal candidates.
- Advanced registration for summer and fall began: Visit the Registrar's Calendar and Critical Dates page for more information.
- Youth Mental Health First Aid Training is April 5: This training helps participants understand how to help children and adolescents aged 12-18, who may be experiencing a mental health-related crisis or problem.
- The last spring strategy session for SF's new strategic plan is also April 5: Even if you haven't joined in other strategic planning events this spring, attend this final session to help SF set a great course into 2030.
