March 24, 2024 – Do you know what's happening this week at Santa Fe College? Here's a rundown of just a few events and important dates:
- UF Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management Walk-In Advising is March 26 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Visit SF's Event Calendar for more UF Advising dates.
- The Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon is March 26: Three Women of Distinction and one Woman of Promise will receive awards.
- The College Senate Executive Council Meeting is also March 26: The meeting takes place at 3:30 p.m. in Building P, Room 160 (Northwest Campus).
- The FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management Campus Visit is March 27: This event is a chance for students studying Hospitality Management or other business adjacent majors to discover more about FIU's Chaplin School, one of the more prestigious public universities for tourism and hospitality management.
- "Divine Feminines: Female Deities in Aztec Art" is March 28: This discussion is designed to help students, faculty, staff and the Gainesville community learn more about Latin American History, Culture and Arts.
- Professional Development Day happens March 29: The college will be closed to students and the public.
- Advanced registration for Summer and Fall begins March 29: Student designations including Student Veterans, Honors students, student athletes and more are eligible to register.
- Elements of Style takes place March 29 and 30: Dance Theatre of Santa Fe presents their annual concert showcasing the variety of dance styles taught in the SF dance program.
